Verifying ID at Companies House

Fom 18 November 2025, whenever Confirmation Statements are submitted to Companies House, each director referred to will need to provide a ‘Magic Number’ . Without that number the Confirmation Statement cannot be submitted.

The ‘Magic Number’ is issued by Companies House to directors, when they verify their ID with Companies House.

This means that all directors will need to verify their identitied by 18 November 2025
