Overseas Property Owners Registration

Following the invasion of the Ukraine, the UK government introduced a new requirement to ensure that the overseas owners of Limited companies which owned UK properties could be identified.

It has recently been announced that less than 30% of relevant overseas shell companies have failed to follow the new laws.

Along with many other new rules, the law was introduced without the necessary resources to enforce the laws.
