Those individuals (self employed and those with property rental income) with gross relevant income in excess of £30,000 per tax year are being caught by MTD from April 2027.

The current estimate is that this will involve arond 900,000 indiviudals having to record their transactions digitally and report figures quarterly to HMRC.
