Insolvencies increase

Statistics released by the government indicate the number of company insolvencies in August 2022 increased by 19% compared to August 2022. This may partially be the result of HMRC undertaking morse severe chasing of overdue corporate tax debts. HMRC took a fairly lenient approach during the Covid pandemic.
