Filing of Company Accounts and Corporation Tax Returns

The Government has announced that the free software provided by Companies House and HMRC to file annual accounts (at Companies House) and Corporation Tax returns (at HMRC) will be withdrawn from March 2026.

Generally, this will mean that companies will either have to use the services of an agent or will need to purchase software, in order to file these documents from 1 April 2026.
