Business Mileage Tax Relief

The Chancellor announced last week that the tax relief which can be claimed for business mileage is being changed. The change is backdated to 5 April 2026.

From that date a rate of 55p per mile can be claimed for the first 10,000 business miles. The rate for miles in excess of 10,000 remains unchanged at 25p per mile.
