Self Employed Income Support Scheme (SEISS) Grant
The SEIS is the UK government’s grant for supporting self-employed individuals and partnerships, where the level of profits of the business have been impacted upon by the Coronavirus.
There are currently four grant claims possible. The first two have now closed for grant applications.
In a series of announcements in the last few days, the government has increased the grant for the third grant from 20% of average profits to 80% of average profits. The grant is capped at £7,500.
Grants can be claimed from 30 November 2020.
The level of the grant for the fourth period, is due to be announced in January 2021.
